deer eeee the sound of brakes
An all too often sight here, especially at night when they are hard to see. I look for the shiny eyes. –Curt
One good thing are that they often cross the road on the same spot.
A few weeks ago while hiking a pair of deer came charging directly at me on a trail. They didn’t see me because I was standing behind a tree in their view. The buck had a huge set of antlers and honestly my heart was pounding. They pulled up short when they saw me and I was fumbling for my phone in my pocket to take a picture. I have a few but not as clear as yours. It was cold and I was so excited my hands were shaking. Thanks for this piece. Delighted to remember it.
I was driving in my car when I saw these, and my camera was ready with the tele zoom-lens in the other seat. Not so exciting as your “deer-contact” 🙂
