We made a trip to Haverud, a funny place who has a car bridge, a train bridge and an aqueduct in the same area. Bad wheather but a nice place and good food at “Håferuds Rökeri & Brasseri”

We did a short trip today to Tollebol and Yttre Hedane in Dalsland
In the end of my vacation I did a short visit to a island I often camp on.
It was planned 3 day, but I went home one day early because of the wind.
Was not able to paddle back from I started the day before,it was a major head wind against me so I ended up on a beach instead, where my wife picked me up with the car. 🙂
Despite the tragic in Paris in my memory, I choose my own victory I did a couple years ago.
I had long yearned to start in “Dalsland Canoe Marathon”, a canoe / kayak race that goes in four lakes (you have to run a little between the lakes too). 🙂
The distance is 55km, and you paddle in a wonderful nature.
The premiere was in 2011 and I also competed in 2012 and in 2013.
It is a victory every time you cross the finish line.

The competition is in four lakes (and 3 portages between) and the distance is 55km, I competed in 2011, 2012 and 2013, this year I rested. 🙂
The “+ “sign means that the race are a little longer than common marathon.
