Today I tested my new Trangia 25-6 UL with the new multifuel burner X2.
I can use: White gas, unleaded petrol/gasoline, kerosene, diesel, butane/propane canisters (and alcohol with original Trangia burner)… and whiskey, but the unleaded petrol seems to be the best choise.
Earlier I have used my old Trangia 27, a smaller version than the 25 and only used it with the alcohol burner.
Here is the final result of my homemade stove (I think) 🙂
We went out for a little walk today, great weather and the sun is getting warmer.

I made a holder for the burner so that it is steadier.
And the holder snaps into the pot when packing
It’s fun making things .. 🙂
I have now tested the thing, it actually works great (indoors without wind) 🙂

Following a tip from the internet (https://www.facebook.com/wayne.hanley.39), I made an “extra” burner for Trangia stove.
This also fits Biltema stove. Now it´s time to tidy it up a bit with the grinder.
It also have place for the brown cap to obtain slow burning

Jag har sett en mängd olika varianter av “alu-burks-brännare”, en del krångliga att tillverka, en del med en klen konstruktion.
Nu fick jag ett tips från en vän i Huddinge (eller var han nu är). 🙂
Denna är mycket enkel att göra. Lite känslig med dagens blåst och det är inte vattnet som kokar i vimeo-filmen utan det är grannens traktor som låter. 🙂

Jag har ändrat på div fästen på kajaken, dels har jag monterat VKV-fästen på båda luckorna och även satt på röda band bakom sittbrunn som paddel-fäste om man skulle hamna i vattnet.
Då har man testat torrdräkten i +7º C för första gången och den var tät. Det ansträngda leendet var pga stark sol i ögonen, inte kylan 🙂
Nya prylar inför kommande paddelturer.
En pocketkamera att ha i flytvästen, Panasonic DMC-FT4. Jag byter ut den gamla Olympus Tough 6000.
Ett vattentätt skydd för min Iphone, Aquabox, verkar vara ok att fota med så länge skalet är någorlunda repfritt.
